Thank you for being part of our Kidney Companions community.

Here we will provide updates, highlight the people within Kidney Companions, and share stories and actions you can take in a broader community.

Building on our successes of last year, we welcome 2026. It is with renewed focus and invigoration that we look forward to our Kidney Companion partners receiving new outlooks on life. And despite the heartbreak and disappointment that last year brought to some of our companions, we know that our companionship will continue to build resolve, with the eventual outcome of a new kidney transplant. We also look forward to welcoming a new Kidney Companion partner this month - a partner with many years' wait time already accumulated. Bringing him into our circle of friendship, companionship, and trust will facilitate new avenues of success. 

We host a monthly drop in gathering for all who are interested in learning about Kidney Companions. We will always have an existing volunteer there for you to ask questions and listen to their experience. This is a great time to explore your interest in becoming a volunteer or invite someone who you think would be interested.

We are outside or in the mall walking!

Join us Tuesdays at 9:15 am and/or Wednesdays at 11 am for a casual walk with lovely company around the Commons or in the mall. Email molly@kidneycompanions.org for questions and whether you would like to be added to the group chat and be sure to not miss anything!
